Fag half-burned shortly after lit,
She sees him,
Twenty years later,
Her body still reacts like a schoolgirl,
She feels good but nervous,

His name is Bill,

If your whole world around seems to be crumbling in.
Don’t lose your faith in me; don’t please drop your chin.
Speak through your eyes to me, raise them, raise your hand.

So many people touch our lives and make us who we are
they may be close to home or come from somwhere far
they fill our minds with lots of songs and many words as well
some make your eyes dance and shine and your heart to swell
others choose to bring you tears with what they have to say

The door before her bore no mark
It gave no willing clue
Though she could not retreat again
She had to push on through
Behind she left a chequered past
Wide strewn with litter deep
Then forward was the only path
Though it seemed a scaring leap
She grasped the handle firmly
Took all her might to turn
Though knew she had to do this
